Day Wise Itinerary (Day-by-Day Breakdown): 🗺
Day 1:- Haridwar to Guptkashi (207 km/7 hrs).
Start your journey from Haridwar. The journey will take you through Rishikesh and several other colorful towns and villages in the Garhwal region. Once you reach Guptkashi, check into your accommodation. There are various lodging options, including hotels, guesthouses, and dharmshalas, to suit different budgets. Have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2:- Guptkashi to Kedarnath (24km+17 km trek/ 8 hrs)
Guptkashi is a town located in the Rudurprayag district of Uttarakhand and serves as a base for pilgrims traveling to Kedarnath. You can start your journey in Guptkashi. From Guptkashi, you’ll travel to Gaurikund, which is the base camp for Kedarnath Yatra. It’s about 30 kilometers away from Guptkashi and serves as the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath. Trek to Kedarnath The journey to Kedarnath involves a trek of approximately 16 kilometers, and it usually takes around 5-6 hours to complete. The trek is beautiful but can be strenuous, so it’s important to be prepared with proper clothing, footwear, and essentials. After that check in your hotel have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 3:- Kedarnath to Guptkashi (24km+17 km trek/ 6 hrs)
After breakfast you’ll go back to Guptkashi check in your hotel have dinner stay overnight
Day 4:- Guptkashi to Badrinath (197 km/ 7 hrs)
Start your journey in Guptkashi, which is often used as a base for visiting Badrinath. The distance between Guptkashi and Badrinath is approximately 170 kilometers. You can travel by road, and the journey usually takes around 6-8 hours, depending on road conditions and traffic. Once you arrive in Badrinath, visit the Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in India and is located at an altitude of approximately 3,300 meters (10,827 feet). Spend time at the temple for darshan. You’ll check in your hotel resort have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 5:- Badrinath to Haridwar (310 km/ 10 hrs)
After breakfast you will go to Haridwar . The distance between Badrinath and Haridwar is approximately 309 kilometers.
